Hello, I'm Freya. I live in a basement flat that gets the morning sun, which shapes most of what I do.

I started growing houseplants about seven years ago, after watching my mother, who never lost a plant at work. I've been repotting for two years now; it started with a workshop I signed up for on a whim.

Bobbin is my fiddle-leaf fig, and turns up here a lot. I write things down here so I stop making the same mistakes, which works about half the time.

I post when there's something to say about houseplants, which is roughly every week or so. The fiddle-leaf fig is called Bobbin, which made sense at the time.
